Rebrand a low voltage systems company.

First Impulse has seen tremendous growth and success with their company over the past few years and were looking to update their web presence, as well as allow their website to accommodate present, and future growth.

The new website will also give First Impulse the ability to make updates, add new content, edit existing content and provide more control over their web presence.

The Challenge.
The move to a CMS.

First Impulse had a standard HTML markup website, which was upgraded to the WordPress platform as part of the redesign process. The site required a revised information architecture, new design, WordPress theming, content integration, and performance optimization based on the results of this process.

All the things.

I designed and developed the entire project and worked with a Copywriter. I was also responsible for managing the project and client relations, which included timelines, resourcing, priorities, tasks, and dates.

There were specific elements of creative and content that were part of a partnership First Impulse had with Critical Alert Systems, and I partnered with that vendor on a story-driven content piece.

Also, there was a big lift with First Impluse’s quote and proposal system. They used Quosal, now ConnectWise, which is an automated quote and proposal software platform. This required me to learn the software to design custom templates. Once the templates were created, I collaborated with Quosal developers to create custom templates that would better serve First Impulse.

The Outcome.
Successful launch.

As a result of the project, First Impulse had a stable platform they could utilize for their continued marketing efforts, as well as a consistent place to direct present and future clients, partners and business too.

They also had an improved and more efficient quote and proposal system in place, that better represented their company brand and professionalism.
